The first clear trends for Spring/Summer 2000 emerged as the New York collections wrapped up[1] on Saturday. Under the tents at Bryant Park, and elsewhere around the city, fashion week was dominated by[2] luxury-a stark[3] contrast to the strict utilitarian[4] looks of seasons past.
