* fail：在这里是“不及格”的意思。用做及物动词，fail a class就是“一门课不及格”。与其同义的一个词是flunk，也表示“考试不及格”。
* premature：“比预期早的”、“提早的”、“过早的”等意思。a premature baby就是“早产的婴儿”。
To realize the value of one week,
Ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of one hour,
Ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
* weekly：“每周一次的”，weekly newspaper就表示“周报”。另外，weekly也可以当名词讲，就是“周刊、周报”的意思。
