Rosie's Back

Rosie O'Donnell Rosie O'Donnell will host[1] the 42nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony Feb. 23, marking the second year in a row she has taken on the role.

More than 57 million people tuned in a year ago to see the Grammy Awards, the ceremony's second-highest numbers in six years. This year's ceremony will be held at the Staple Center in Lost Angele and will be broadcast live[2] on the East Coast by CBS.

"From the moment Rosie first appeared on the Grammy stage last year, it was apparent she was loved by the audience and throughout the evening demonstrated her passion for the music," says Michael Greene, president and CEO of the Recording Academy. "As an avid fan of the nominees and performers, she brings credibility to the show and connects in a most unique way with the television audience."

Rosie O'Donnell回来了

Rosie O'Donnell将于2月23号第二次主持第42届葛莱美大奖的颁奖仪式。

去年葛莱美颁奖的观众超过五千七百万是近六年来第二次收看颁奖最多的一年。今年的典礼将在洛杉机市的Staple Center举行，CBS也会在东海岸进行直播。

“从Rosie去年首次出现在葛莱美舞台上起，很明显所有的观众都为她对音乐的热情所感动，”Recording Academy的执行总裁Michael Greene说道。“作为一个葛莱美奖提名人及表演者迷的Rosie，她用特殊的方式把自己的激情与电视观众们相结合，并取得了非凡的效果。”
