Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II has banned her royal staff from carrying mobile phones, Buckingham Palace said today.
　　“No one wants phones going off during a banquet,” a palace spokesman told Reuters.
　　“It’s a question of common sense and good manners,” he added, confirming no royal courtiers would be allowed to carry the handsets while on duty.
　　In future only staff members who cannot cope without mobiles, such as press officers, will be allowed to have them, the spokesman said.

　　“没有人想在宴会上听见手机响，”这位发言人告诉路透社记者。
