Grandmothers set for Wednesday reunion
（祖母们等待周三的重逢）

　　US officials have ordered the Miami relatives of Cuban shipwreck boy Elian Gonzalez to let him meet his grandmothers in a "neutral setting" on Wednesday.
　　 Raquel Rodriguez and Mariela Quintana, who have come to the US to lobby for the six-year old's return to his father in Cuba, flew to Miami on Monday, but failed to see him.
　　 The two women had apparently been worried about a crowd gathered around the house, which is located in an area of the city dominated by the anti-Castro Cuban emigre community.
　　 Now officials of the US Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) have demanded that they should be allowed to meet him at a neutral venue.


 


华盛顿命令埃利安与祖母重聚
　　美国官员已经命令古巴海难幸存者--男孩埃利安的迈阿密亲戚必须允许他与祖母于星期三在一个中立地点会面。
　　祖母Raquel Rodriguez和Mariela Quintana到美国游说，希望把六岁男孩带回到他在古巴的父亲的身边。她们曾经在周一飞往迈阿密，但没能与埃利安会面。
