General Pinochet could be going home soon

　　Former Chilean dictator General Augusto Pinochet is waiting to hear whether he will be allowed to escape extradition on torture charges.
　　 UK Home Secretary Jack Straw has already said he is "minded" to allow the general to go free, after medical experts said he was unfit to stand trial.
　　 Mr Straw is due to reveal his final decision at 0800 GMT on Thursday, after a 16-month wrangle over the general's future.
　　 If the general is allowed to return home, he could be on a plane back to Chile within minutes of the announcement.

皮诺切特倒计时
