Bashar al-Assad: a leader in waiting 巴沙尔-阿萨德：待任领导人

　　The ruling Ba'ath Party in Syria has chosen the late President Assad's son as its leader, paving the way for him to become head of state.
　　The Syrian news agency said the party had proclaimed the former eye doctor "leader of the party and the people".
　　The move brings Bashar a step closer to taking over from his father, President Hafez al-Assad, who died just over a week ago.
　　Parliament has already changed the constitution to let him run for the presidency at the age of 34 instead of 40.

巴沙尔得到叙利亚执政党支持
