People in Iran are still angry over the loss of the airliner 伊朗人对于飞机被击落一事耿耿于怀

　　Iranians have been remembering the 290 victims of a passenger airliner shot down by a US warship in the Gulf 12 years ago.
　　Iranian TV showed relatives of the passengers throwing flowers into the sea from boats at the spot where the remains of the Iran Air airbus were found.
　　The airliner was hit by two missiles from the US Navy cruiser Vincennes at one of the low-points of the two countries' turbulent relations since the 1979 Islamic revolution.
　　The US said at the time that the Vincennes had mistaken the plane for a fighter poised to attack, but Iran said that an airliner's radio signals could never have been mistaken for those of a fighter.

伊朗不忘美国罪行

　　伊朗人对290名12年前因一架民航飞机在海湾地区被美国军舰击落而遇难的同胞举行了悼念活动。

　　伊朗电视报道了遇难乘客的亲属们乘船在伊朗客机残骸发现地点向海里抛花朵的镜头。

　　这架客机是被美国海军巡洋舰Vincennes发射的两颗导弹击中的，当时两国关系处于自1979年伊斯兰革命以来两国恶劣关系的一个最低点。

　　美国当时的解释是Vincennes巡洋舰误认为这架飞机是一架准备袭击的战斗机，但伊朗方面说，客机的信号是绝不可能被误认为战斗机信号的。
