Vojislav Kostunica's dream has become a reality 科什图尼察梦想变成现实

　　The inauguration of Yugoslavia's new President, Vojislav Kostunica has taken place in Belgrade - a day after being swept to power by a massive popular uprising.
　　His formal swearing-in brought to an end an era in which Slobodan Milosevic dominated Balkan politics for 13 years.
　　Mr Kostunica said he believed the full consequences of the uprising had yet to be seen. He admitted to being a little surprised and confused by the pace of recent events.
　 "Everything that is happening now seems a dream. But that dream, when I wake up, becomes the reality," he said.
　　Mr Kostunica was bolstered further by a message of congratulation from China's President Jiang Zemin, formerly one of Mr Milosevic's key supporters.

科什图尼察掌权南联盟

　　南联盟群众起事导致科什图尼察上台后一天，新总统就职仪式在贝尔格莱德开幕。
　　科什图尼察的正式宣誓结束了米洛舍维奇长达13年统治巴尔干的政治局面。
　　科什图尼察说他认为群众起事的后果有待进一步观察。他承认对最近事件的步幅有些惊奇和迷惑。
　　“现在发生的每件事情都象一场梦。但我醒来时，梦就变成了现实。” 他说。
　　原来米洛舍维奇主要支持者之一中国主席江泽民的贺电使得科什图尼察的地位得到更一步巩固。
