Scientists say plants exposed to radiation near the Chernobyl
nuclear power plant show "unusually high" mutation rates.
The plants' mutation rates were six times higher than normal, the result
of some unknown effects of low-level chronic exposure to
radiation.
The scientists say it is possible that other organisms,
including humans, could be affected in the same way.
切尔诺贝利核辐射使小麦变种
科学家指出在切尔诺贝利核电站附近遭受核辐射的植物显示出“不一般高”的变异率。
