The Vietnam Star [right]: Declared a national treasure 越南之星（右）是越南国宝

　　Vietnam's security services are trying to prevent a rush for gems in a remote area near the Laos border, following rumours of a large ruby find.
　　Police chief Thai Doan Hieu told the news agency AFP that officers had been deployed to disperse thousands of miners who had gathered in Nghe An province.
　　The AFP report quoted police saying treasure hunters had been arriving at a rate of 3,000 a day throughout last week.

越南涌现宝石潮

　　越南安全部门高度戒备，试图阻止由于传言在与老挝接壤的边远地区发现一块大红宝石引起的大批夺宝狂潮。
　　警长Thai Doan Hieu告诉新闻机构AFP，许多警官已经部署到Nghe An省，去遣散已经聚集在那里的数以千计的采矿者。
　　AFP还引用警方的话说，在上周采矿者以每天3000名的数量涌入该地区。
