　　British number one Tim Henman beat his friend and training partner Pete Sampras for the first time in seven meetings on Thursday.
　　The third-round clash in the ATP Masters Series event in Cincinnati ended 6-3 6-4 in Henman's favour, although the second-seeded Sampras was not at his most fluent.
　　After the match a delighted Henman said: "This was my biggest win. It's my best individual effort."
　　"It has been a long time coming. It's great to finally get a victory against him."
