MY CHILDREN AND MY FARM

When I was in Canada, I was living near my business. And I could walk in five minutes to where I worked. And what was wrong with that is that I spent much too much time at my business. It was just over there.

So when my children were ...5 years old.Rhonda, 6? 4 years old for the twin boys--I have twin boys, yes, I am a twin, but I have children too ... two of children are twins, twin boys. So I decided to... and my wife and I decided to bring them up in the country. And we went and bought a farm. You don't know what an acre is. It's a very big piece of land.I had 28 of those very big pieces of land. And it was my hobby farm. And it was a 20 minute drive by car to my business. So it was longer to get to work and back, but when I left work I was quite long ways away from it.

Yes, we raised our 5 children on the farm. They enjoyed it very much. In fact my daughter only 2 weeks ago wrote me an E-mail to China telling me how much she enjoyed growing up on the farm. She is 30 years old now and just loves to remember her life growing up on the farm. 18 years, she had 18 years on the farm. (She's lucky.) She's lucky, very lucky.

I am very pleased to have been able to provide my children with that. The farm had many animals. Only because I wanted to test, try out different animals. Just like you test food, you taste it to see if you like it. I would buy two animals of the same kind I always brought up my animals in pairs. I would buy two pigs, little pigs, they would grow up to be big pigs, yes, this big... big pigs, two sheep, two dogs...
