电视

　　你一定很爱看电视吧，是不是有必要了解一下电视语言呢？

　　不知道晚上演什么，问问别人：
 What's on TV tonight？
　　今晚有些什么电视节目？
　　What's on following the news and weather forecast？
　　新闻和天气预报之后有什么节目？

　　查电视报，又准确又方便：
I need a TV guide.
　　我需要一份电视报。
　　This program starts at 8:30.
　　这个节目8：30开始。

　　想了解电视节目有多长时间：
The news lasts only thirty minutes.
　　新闻只有30分钟。

　　为什么总是没有好节目呢？
Where's the remote control？
　　摇控器在哪里？
　　Can we change the channel and find something else？
　　我们换个频道看看其他电视，好吗？

 
 


　　报怨电视效果差：
I've had some difficulty lately in getting good reception.
　　最近收看电视节目时效果不太好。
　　The TV isn't working well today.
　　今天电视画面不清楚。
　　Maybe it's time we got a new TV.
　　也许现在是我们该买部新电视的时候了。

　　父母是否经常向你报怨：
Turn down the sound！
　　把声音开小点！
　　There's no reason to keep changing the channel like that.
　　没有道理像那样不停地转台。

　　好节目总是让人心有牵挂：
I wonder if they'll ever show Star Wars again.
　　我不知道他们是否要重播《星球大战》。

　　可恨的是电视台总是把它们安排在不合理的时间：
Why do they schedule good shows at such inconvenient times？
　　为什么他们把好节目排在这么不方便的时段呢？
