He gets
out of the lift. Then he walks to a bus stop. The bus stop is in
front of a station. It is about two hundred metres from his home.
Usually, he catches the number 11 bus to work, but sometimes he
goes by train. John works in a factory about ten kilometres from
his home. His work starts at half past eight, and finishes at a
quarter to five. He gets back home at a quarter past five. He gets
into the lift, and goes up to the twelfth floor. Then he gets out
of the lift and climbs up to the fifteenth floor on foot.
Every day he does the same thing. Why doesn't he use the lift for
the last three floors?
