    Beijing BISS International School was founded in 1994 to serve the Beijing expatriate community’s need for international education.BISS is the first International School licensed by Beijing Educational Commission,an associate member of the European Council of International Schools (ECIS)and a Candidate for Accreditation by Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC)。

    BISS hires highly experienced and qualified teaching faculty from USA,UK,Australia,New Zealand,Canada,Singapore and Korea.The diverse international background of these faculty members ensures the international character of the school,and gives student a well——rounded education.

    BISS’s growth has been extremely fast,mirroring the rapid development of Beijing in the last few years.From 30 students in 1994,the school has expanded to over 300 students from 40 different countries today.

    BISS was initially set up with the assistance of its parent school,ISS International School,Singapore.As a parent school,ISS supports BISS with curriculum development,as well as other academic and administrative matters.
